That type of accomplishment when it comes to majors is not something seen from another player other than Tiger Woods since he entered the Pros.
Not only do Padraig Harrington’s victories make for a great story. It also solidifies his status as a genuine golf superstar. He has become the face of golf for the 2008 season and exactly what the PGA needed to salvage a season without Tiger Woods.

The 2009 season looks to have the makings of golf greatness with the certain return of Tiger Woods doing battle with the new superstar on the block Padraig Harrington. The possibility of having another golfer on the same level as Tiger will only help the sport elevate to a new level.
As a fan of the sport of golf it is fantastic to see another player elevate their game to be the best in the world in the abscense of the best player ever.
